Hello and welcome to Caregiving Together. I am excited to work with you and support every aspect of your healthcare journey. I am a master's prepared registered nurse (RN) Health and wellness coach with over 30 years of health care experience and also hold a degree in mental health/Psychology. I am a board certified advanced holistic nurse, board certified holistic wellness nurse coach, certified case manager, holistic nurse educator, national speaker, wellness workshop leader, and support group facilitator. I also have extensive training and experience within therapeutic touch and aromatherapy. I specialize in Holistic Health and Wellness and I believe everyone has the internal power to achieve their desired goals . I am always working to provide the latest evidence based research to all my clients. My own journey and experience as a health care provider has given me insight into the many challenges one encounters. Thank you for allowing me to share this journey alongside of you.

Holistic Wellness coaching

You might be asking yourself, "Where do I find the time to care for me"? As a nurse coach, I can provide you tools that will guide and support a healthier you while caring for your loved one or just discovering balance. The goal is to decrease anxiety and stress and increase your quality of life to assist in reaching your highest potential. Nurse coaching includes active individual sessions to determine your goals and customize a care plan using nursing knowledge. You are the primary decision maker of your health, and I will guide you to discover solutions to fit your needs and lifestyle. As a qualified nurse in the coaching field, this allows me to provide you tools and resources needed to achieve your goals. Holistic wellness activities include but not limited to therapeutic touch, mindfulness, meditation, guided imagery, therapeutic journaling, aromatherapy, with hand heart connections and therapeutic breathing . It is important to focus on the health and wellness as a whole.

I am able to work with you and incorporate one or all modalities according to your daily needs. I am sure you have heard the saying, " you must put your oxygen on first so you can then assist someone with theirs". It takes a village to provide strong and healthy support to the ones we love.

Resources

My years and experience as a certified case manager has allowed me to become an expert in assisting with needs and resources. I can assist you with locating resources that may ease some of the duties and free up special time with your loved one. I work with caregivers to navigate the many challenges within the healthcare system by providing education and knowledge of working with multidisciplinary teams. This will increase your understanding of what to expect and resources available through insurance plans. These include Medicare and private insurance.
